Deflect never asks for or collects personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts or photos. Because the app shows ads, the ad provider processes a limited amount of data — exactly what, is described below.
Ads are served through Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google may process your device's advertising ID and general device information (model, operating system version, approximate region). This data is collected by Google; we neither access, store nor share it.
Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent screen on first launch. You can change your choice at any time under Settings › Ad privacy settings in the game. You may also disable ad personalisation or reset your advertising ID in your device settings.
To remove ads permanently you can make a one-time in-app purchase, after which no full-screen ads are shown.
Payment is handled entirely by Google Play. Your card or payment details never reach the app; we only receive whether the purchase completed, and store that on your device.
The game stores only the following in your device's own storage:
This information never leaves your device. You can erase it completely via Settings › Reset Progress in the game, or by uninstalling the app.
The game itself works offline. The internet is used only to load ads and to verify purchase status with Google Play. Without a connection the game plays normally; you simply see no ads.
The app contains no analytics tools and no behavioural tracking. Your in-game statistics stay on your device.
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe data from a child under 13 has been processed, please contact us at the address below and we will address it.
